I have been on a smoothie kick lately. After a crazy couple of weeks of traveling, I am finally reunited with my blender and they taste so good!
Anyways, this smoothie is a blend of my two favorite fruits. Strawberries and bananas go together like chocolate and peanut butter, they are the perfect match.
The great thing about this protein smoothie is you can use your favorite fruits and create a healthy snack in a matter of minutes!
If you don't have almond milk on hand, regular milk or Greek yogurt will work. You may have to adjust the consistency by reducing the amount of ice or adding a tablespoon of water.
Coconut Strawberry Banana Smoothie
4 Large Strawberries, hulled
1/4 tsp Coconut Extract
1/2 Scoop Protein Powder
1/2 c. Almond Milk
5-10 Ice Cubes (The more ice you use, the thicker the smoothie)
Place all ingredients into a high powered blender. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. This smoothie makes enough to fill two 8 oz cups with a little left over! Enjoy :)
