For anyone who has Celiac or is gluten intolerant, the idea of enjoying a piled high, tasty burger or a loaded deli sandwich is now lackluster. We have to enjoy our "sandwiches" and "burgers" bunless. Which in my opinion takes all the fun out of eating a sandwich!

Food blogger Ashley from Edible Perspective had the amazing idea to take gluten free buns from the grocery store and jazz them up a little by adding everything seasoning. Not only is this idea genius, it is the ultimate time saver for weeknight dinners! 

Everything Flavored Gluten Free Buns

 
Ingredients:
 
6 Gluten Free Buns (I buy Udis or you can make your own)
1 Egg, whisked
2.5 tsp Poppy Seeds
2.5 tsp Sesame Seeds
1.5 tsp Dried, Minced Garlic
1.5 tsp Dried, Minced Onion
2 tsp Large, Flaked Sea Salt
 
Directions:
 
Preheat your oven to broil on high.
 
Brush the tops of the buns with a light coating of the whisked egg. Sprinkle everything topping on each bun and place them on a baking sheet.
 
Bake for about 3-5 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned and the egg is dry. Watch closely to make sure they don't burn! 
 
If you prefer all sides of your buns toasted, flip the tops over and toast for another 3-5 minutes. You can also toast the bottom half of the bun as well.
